Annotation: The authors of this article constructed a subjective assessment tool for the operational effectiveness and strategic flexibility of new product development systems. The reliability test on all but 2 items were positive with Cronbach's alpha above 0.70. The scale items were preliminarily tested on 29 Dutch NPD managers. Results found a significant correlation between product concept effectiveness and new product development process effectiveness.
