Erin is an Occupational Therapist and UB alumnus, who works directly with individuals with various disabilities to evaluate and implement assistive technology that facilitates independence and attainment of their goals.
Erin provides Assistive Technology (AT) evaluation and training services to clients referred by New York State Commission for the Blind (NYSCB) and Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR), as well as school districts and privately funded clients. She also assists with the NYS Technology Related-Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program, and provides presentations and demonstrations of assistive technology within the community. Erin coordinates the training services for the Center for Assistive Technology including individual and group training for consumers, school districts, counselors, and other service providers. She also works with college students with disabilities at the UB Office of Accessibility Resources.
She holds a BA in Psychology, and BS/MS in Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo. Erin has worked directly with individuals with various disabilities of all ages, to evaluate, install, and implement assistive technologies that facilitate participation in education and the workplace. Erin has also participated in presentations, demonstrations, and expositions to raise awareness of AT in the community.
