Health in Brazil is an exchange program between the University at Buffalo (UB) and the Universidade Presidente Antonio Carlos (UNIPAC), Brazil.  UNIPAC is a private multicampus institution, located in 16 cities in the state of Minas Gerais.

During most of the trip the group will stay with host families in medium size cities in which UNIPAC has campuses. The program will include visits to nearby points of interest within driving distance of these cities, such as the historical town of Ouro Preto, with its colonial architecture and art.  The group will also spend several days in the city of Belo Horizonte, the capital of the state of Minas Gerais, with its famous artisans’ fair and brilliant soccer teams.

The program concludes with four days in Rio de Janeiro where students will tour the internationally famous panoramic sites and experience Rio’s vibrant culture.
