system requirements:
1. R(>=2.7.0) For installation of R, refer to http://www.r-project.org
2. libtiff For installation, refer to http://www.libtiff.org/

There are a number of ways to download and install the package. Here are a few of many:

Option 1:
1. Open R
2. type the command: install.packages("sendplot")
3. chose the CRAN mirror closest to your location
4. load the the library using the command library("sendplot")

Option 2:
1. Download the sendplot package from this website or CRAN
2. Unzip the downloaded file and save it under R/library, or the path to the directory containing stored library (can be obtained in R with the command .libPaths())
3. load the library into R using the command library("sendplot")

Option 3 (command line):
1. Download the sendplot package from this website or CRAN
2. In command line use the command: R CMD INSTALL sendplot_3.8.0.tar.gz (or whatever the package version you are using)
3. Open R and load the library using the command library("sendplot")

Option 4 (GUI version):
A:
1. Download zip file
2. Open R, select the menu option package, choose install packages from local zip, navigate to saved file, click on open
3. load the library into R using the command library("sendplot")

B:
1. Open R, select the menu option package, choose install packages, select the mirror closest to your location, select sendplot
2. load the library into R using the command library("sendplot")

Note: We are constantly making updates please check back periodically for most recent version. This library is also on CRAN and can be updated automatically in R.

Note: Sendplot suggests the R package rtiff. Rtiff utilizes the system requirement libtiff.

Note: It is possible to use sendplot without the system requirements, but there is more work on the user and requires intermediate steps. If this is desired please go to CRAN to download version 2.1.2 or lower.
