Profile
Dr. Miecznikowski is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Miecznikowski's duties include methodological research in statistics, collaborative biostatistical research, grant and manuscript writing, teaching graduate level statistics/biostatistics courses, and the supervision of graduate students. His primary research interests include spot detection in 2D gel electrophoresis, array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) analysis, microarray analysis, nonparametric statistics, and software development. Dr. Miecznikowski also serves as a consultant to the Departments of Biostatistics and Cancer Genetics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (50 % effort) as well as the Gynecologic Oncology Group (10% effort).

Research Interests
Bio-technical image analysis, array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) analysis, microarray analysis, nonparametric statistics, bootstrap methods, software development.
