Statistical Consulting Laboratory

Albert Vexler, PhD., Director of Consulting Lab

3435 Main Street
Farber Hall, Room 246
Buffalo, New York 14214-3000

Goals: The Consulting Lab is designed to provide you with a service regarding the statistical aspects of the design and analysis of scientific experiments. We also have expertise in statistical genetics and microarray data analysis.

We can also assist you with the analysis and interpretation of the data. On another front, we can help with proposal writing that will need a statistical component, be it a line item with protocol for statistical analysis, or a statistical collaborator as CO-PI, etc. It has been found that the most fruitful collaboration has occurred when the research project is discussed with the Statistician at the very beginning of the planning stages of the experiment.

Operation: We operate on a "first come, first served" basis and it is advisable that you schedule an appointment ahead of time. We will do our best to meet with you as soon as possible.

Policies: For detailed information regarding services and charges please go to Statistical Consulting Laboratory Policies.
